04/05/17 Fresh elderflowers are mixed with lemon, water and sugar. Belvoir Fruit Farms C a Truly Blossoming Business Belvoir Fruit Farms has appointed the UKÕs first Elderflower Manager to help source more elderflowers and to grow it better in their own 90 acres of plantations, near Grantham, Lincolnshire. The £ turnover, family owned soft drinks producer, has been making its award winning Elderflower Cordial for 35 years and in 2018 saw sales of it grow by over 20%. Yesterday saw the first large infusion of its Organic Elderflower Cordial for 2019 made using elderflowers from blossoms grown in its own plantations and picked by the local community. Belvoir currently fills 25-30 million bottles a year across its full range, catering for a robust domestic market and an export market encompassing 36 countries. Growth in demand for Belvoir drinks has necessitated the business recently investing £ in a new rinser, filler and capper machine as well as a new palletiser and automatic wrapper which has increased efficiencies, has dramatically reduced the companyÕs waste and has the potential to double the factoryÕs production capacity.
