210305-A-MU580-1059 ARABIAN GULF (Mar 5, 2021) – Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class Michael Myers assigned to the patrol coastal ship USS Typhoon (PC 5), provides security for the expeditionary mobile base platform ship USS Louis B. Puller (ESB 3), during a transit of the Arabian Gulf. Mar. 5. The Typhoon is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
