Cappadocia,Turkey. Strange landsof fairy tales with a cap of Basalt which renews itself, Caused by two Volcanoes,Erciyes & Hasan
Cappadocia, Central Turkey. There is nothing quite like it in the world. Stretched across an area of 80,000 square kilometres of central Turkey are a strange land of thousands of fairy tales houses and cave churches that baffle the Erciyes and Hasan have given this area its claim to fame by spilling the whole area with its own unique lava, to this day in 2014. Each mountain blows through the winds, and the flooding rivers to shape the hardened tuff which forms a cap of basalt on the hardened rock. As erosion continues the cap eventually falls to the ground. Meanwhile the process starts over again. The whole landscape of such weird and wonderful sights is brought about by two now dormant volcanoes which once spewed their ash and lava over the area.
