In therolling shop, which is 136 ft. x 25 ft., there are five rolllathes of modern type and motor driven, for the manu-facture of rolls to correspond with any new section ofrail which may be on the market. The output of existingmachinery in a single turn of 12 hours is 200 net tons perday of joints, or about 62,000 tons per annum. In addition, the shops are equipped with heating fur-naces and possess an electric plant of 500-kw capacityand a storage house adjoining the mill, 150 ft. x 79
