It has the power of turning its ears back and folding them up, which is their usual position when the animal is at rest; but when it moves about in search of food the ears are opened and spread out. Its disposition is very gentle; it sleeps much during the day, and feeds upon fruit and bread and milk, but likes sweet things, and particularly bananas'. From "Illustrated London News", 1864.
