Gamle Bybrua (Old Town Bridge), old warehouses and spire of Nidarosdomen, seen over Nidelva, Trondheim, Sør Trøndelag, Norway.

Brightly painted old wooden warehouses and the Old Town Bridge, a twin lifting bascule type build 1861 replacing an earlier one of 1681, seen over the Nidelva. Beyond, Nidaros Cathedral was built by Olav Kyrre in the 11th century on the site of the burial of King Olav Haraldson, who had been killed at the Battle of Stiklestad and was subsequently declared a saint and martyr.
