Andy Scott fox boy installation in Menstrie, Clackmannanshire

This public art work by Glasgow sculptor Andy Scott, which features a boy with a fox's head sitting on a water wheel, was installed in Menstrie's Midtown Gardens in December 2008. It is the fourth such installation to be commissioned by Clackmannanshire Council. The water wheel recognises the past use of water power in the county, a buzzard is shown on the wheel, while a maple leaf at his right hand signifies the founding of Nova Scotia by a local man. Taken on a winter's day, frost paints the willow trees and provides a good backdrop.
