Guam (July 14, 2017) -- Hull Maintenance Technician 3rd Class Giancarl Jalandoni, temporarily assigned to the submarine tender Emory S. Land (AS 39), spray paints a chair during a community relations project in Merizo, Guam, July 14. Seventy Land Sailors participated in a clean up to prepare sites for memorial services for the 73rd anniversary of the Tinta and Faha Massacres. Emory S. Land, homeported in Guam, provides maintenance, hotel services and logistical support to submarines and surface ships in the 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operations.
