A male Mwanza flat-headed rock agama (Agama mwanzae) in breeding colours basks on a warm rock in a Kopje in the middle of the Serengeti, Tanzania. Typically the male will become agitated in the presence of other agamas, bobbing his head, doing press-ups and skipping sideways to repel other males and attract females.
