Anti-fracking protesters from around the UK march to Upton anti-fracking camp which was recently evicted by bailiffs.

Anti-fracking protesters from Lyme Regis, Brighton, Kent, Lincolnshire, Leeds, Manchester, Blackpool, Aberystwyth, Bath, Somerset, Nottingham, Hull, Tyne & Wear and the North West joined local residents to march to Duttons Lane where police and bailiffs recently evicted anti-fracking protesters who established their protest camp, with support from local residents, in April 2014. The camp was situated on land owned by Duttons Farm and leased to iGas who intend to carry out an exploratory test drill for coalbed methane. In a survey coordinated by Friends of the Earth 85% of Upton by Chester residents were against unconventional gas extraction / exploration in the area. Over 3,500 of the local residents took part in the survey.
