Glacier descending from the Monte Rosa summit above Zermatt, Switzerland.

Glacier lies opposite the viewing platform at Gornergrat (above Zermatt, Switzerland). It shows the glacier descending from the ice field with crevasses on the surface resulting from the flow of the ice. Old lateral moraines have been left perched on the hillsides as the glacier has shrink in size as a response to global warming.
