Sullivan made assistant. On August 9, of this year, the companyreceived an accession of twelve new members from Engine Company No. in November the company abandoned the gilded cap fronts they had wornand adopted a stitched front style with golden figures stitched on. Messrs.^ enman and Sullivan were re-elected in 1852 and 1853, and on July 22 of thelatter year the company attended the annual parade of the New Haven FireDepartment.
