Royston Cave in Herfordshire still puzzles historians today. The cave is decorated with a large number of low-relief wall sculptures. They are mainly Christian motifs in the medieval style. The figure with the drawn swort may represent St Michael or possibly St George, who was later patron saint of England. The figure's swort points to what appears to be Jasus and the twelve disciples with Judas the small figure at the back towards the right-hand end of the row.
