The charter is found in Consolidated Statutes, chapter96, amended by Extra Session 1920 and, as amended, is as fol-lows: A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO CHARTER THE EASTCAROLINA TEACHERS TRAINING SCHOOL The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact: Section 5863. That the trustees of the East Carolina TeachersTraining School, established by an act of the General Assembly ofNorth Carolina of one thousand nine hundred and seven, and locatedat Greenville, North Carolina, shall be and are hereby constituted abody corporate by and under the name and style of The Board ofTrustees of the East Carolina Teachers Training School, and bythat name may sue and be sued, make contracts, acquire real andpersonal property by gift, purchase or devise, and exercise suchother rights and privileges as are incident to corporations of like
