230201-N-XX566-1205 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 1, 2023) Navy Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) prepare for an underway replenishment with the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Chung-Hoon, part of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, is in 7th Fleet conducting routine operations. 7th Fleet is the Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
