Anne Marie Hunter (Regional Support), Virgin GM Greame McKinnie and Izabela McGowan (Host) Virgin’s state-of-the-art Azuma train makes its first journey to Scotland as part of a test run When: From (full timings and locations below) on Wednesday, Where: The Azuma train will stop at Dunbar station, arriving at (full timings of other locations below) Please contact: Damien Henderson M: 07739 479 492 e: Description: Virgin’s state-of-the-art Azuma train, which promises to usher in a new era of style and comfort when it is introduced on the east coast route between London and Scotland next year, is currently undergoing testing. It will make its first visit to Scotland on Wednesday, when it is due to cross the border into Scotland shortly after The train will then visit Dunbar station at , before departing four minutes later to travel south back to Doncaster. Please be advised because this train is on test, members of the public or media will not be able to board the train. Hitachi, the company building Azuma trains in the North East of England, will be conducting the test runs with a train containing performance monitoring equipment.
