Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) blossom. The sycamore tree is native to central Europe and western Asia. It can grow to 35 metres and live for 400 years. It bears small, green-yellow flowers that hang in spikes or 'racemes'. Photographed in April in Dorset, UK.
