Dr. Nicolette Parr, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) anthropologist, reppels down the side of a steep slope near current excavations, Aug. 28, 2017, to survey the area for future operations in the Quang Tri Province, Vietnam. DPAA deployed to the area in hopes of recovering remains of men lost in a CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter crash in June of 1967.
