Copenhagen Suborbitals rocket test (TM65 engine). Copenhagen Suborbitals is a small private non-profit aerospace organisation with around 40 volunteers working on its projects. It was founded in 2008 and aims to develop suborbital manned flight independently of government and corporate institutions. As of 2013, it has achieved a launch with a human model (June 2011, HEAT-1X) and a launch to a height of kilometres (June 2013, SAPPHIRE-1). Other projects include the Tycho Brahe space capsule.
