28/10/22 Watchmaker Colins Andrews crafts a small batch of wrist-watches he’s calling ‘The Few’ in his workshop near Chester. The dial and hands of the watches are made using metal from the wing of a Spitfire which crashed in France in the WW2. The aircraft, ML295, originally based at Biggin Hill, Kent has recently been restored. Today family members of the Canadian pilot who survived the crash came to Biggin Hill from Canada to fly in the, now two-seater, aircraft.
