Asprina (13 years old) carries Ibrahim, her son in her father's house where she lives after her marriage ended due to violence by her husband, in Nyamwigura Village of Tarime rural area in Tarime district of Mara region in Tanzania. Asprina has five siblings. She is oldest and has completed 7th grade. She was married to Werema (19 years old) when she was only 11 years old on November 24, 2008. Her father received 8 cows dowry. Now she has two children Witness (18 months) and Ibrahim (10 months) both were delivered at home with the assistance of her mother.
