The church was built in 1760. It isof masonry, with two towers and magnifi-cent altars. The town hall, situated on thePlaza Principal, is a good stone building oftwo stories. Annexed to it is the Casa delRey, built in 1832, and serving for officesof the military commandancy. The infantry barracks — Cuartel del Infanteria — isalso a building of modern construction,dating from 1848 ; and, though of simplearchitecture, it is very capacious.
