Army Col. Eric Van Den Bosch, director, Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) Kurdistan Coordination Center (KCC), greets the Honorable Dr. Mark Esper, Secretary of the Army, upon his arrival at Erbil Air Base, Dec. 16, 2018. Secretary Esper shared a meal and hosted a Q&A session with forward deployed Soldiers. The KCC represents CJTF-OIR in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region. The Coalition remains committed to defeat ISIS by, with and through partner forces and sets conditions for follow-on operations to increase regional stability.
