Dinh Ill - Dalat, Vietnam


Bao Dai palace (Dinh Ill). The Bao Dai palace was the residence of the last vietnamese king / emperor Bao Dai before he was forced to leave the country in 1955. The modern art-déco palace / villa was build in the late 1930th (completed in 1938). Today Dinh Ill is a museum, that provides a good impression of the royal lifestyle of Bao Dai and the upper class in the colonial era under the french rule.
