Andrew McComb.)Make a wooden block, size to suit a straight piece of heavy wire andcut it a half inch longer than the a slot lengthwise in the middle ofthe block a little wider than the wire and nice, the ends of the rafters being boxedin, the plancher being nailed up to shortpieces of ceiling joist, nailed from studsto rafter ends, as shown in Fig. 1, carebeing taken to nail facia straight afterthose short joists have been cut off toline.
