Finished in 2008, the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre is a monumnet for the cultures of the two First nations whose traditional territories crossed in the Callaghan Valley, where the world class municipality of whistler Whistler now stands and is the first ever centre dedicated to the history and culture of local First Nations.
