USS MAKIN ISLAND, Gulf of Aden (Dec. 27, 2016) Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepare to remove an engine from an MV-22 Osprey on the USS Makin Island (LHD 8) Dec. 27. The Marines worked together to remove the 2,000 plus pound engine in less than three hours.
