Bristol, UK. 11th Feb, 2015. Bristol City Council have gone to the High Court to seek possession of land occupied by protesters who are preventing work commencing on a new Metrobus project. The hearing was adjourned until tomorrow. Protesters have occupied the council-owned land for ten days, some of them spending day and night in the trees on tree-top platforms. Campaigners have insisted that they intend to stay. Metrobus is a controversial, £200M scheme aimed at improving transport links in Bristol. 11th February 2015.
