The first yearin which Mr. Bloom was in business for himselfhe sent for his family, whom he had left in Russiauntil he became established. The Blooms haveseven children—two boys and five girls—all ofwhom, with the exception of the oldest daughter,are going to school and are being educated in music. The oldest daughter ismarried to Mr. A. Miller, of Miller Brothers, Lima, Ohio. Mr. Bloom is a member of Shaara Zedek Congregation and Brith Abra-ham Society, and is a liberal contributor to all 28
