A fine early Peach of good con-stitution ; an improvement on the old Early or mid-August. Royal George.—Fruit large, globular; skin verydowny, deep-red next the sun, pale greenish-white dottedwith red on the shaded side; flesh pale-3-ellow, rayed withred at the stone, from which it parts fieely, very juicy,melting, rich, and vinous. Sahcay.—Fruit large, round, rather flattened : skin ofa dull greenish-yellow colom\ darker on the most exposedside; flesh of a deep-orange, juic}-, melting, and moderatelyrich when well ripened, adhering slightly to the stone. Avery late and valuable Peach, ripening in the end of Octoberand beginning of November. It is of a good flavour underglass if judiciously ripened with fire-heat. An excellent Peach fora cool house, but not suitable for outside culture northof London. It has produced fruit at Ketton Hall which
