This variety s a hybrid of the famous Kolb's Gem, but is far superior to that variety in size, quality and productiveness; form oblong, flesh scarlet, melting and exceedingly sweet. We regard it as one of the best varieties for the table; but for shipping stick to the Kolb's Gem, as there is no variety equal to it for that purpose. Very early and produc- tive.
