The more prominent of the publicationsare the six volumes of the Archseologia Americana, thefirst of which was published in 1819, at the expense of , the last in 1875. The volumes-are devoted to archaeological or historicalquestions, or rei^rints of rare books and manuscripts. Thelast two contain the History of Printing in America, byIsaiah Thomas, being a reprint, with additions, correctionsand notes, of the original edition of 1810. In the last vol-ume is a very full list of books printed in America previousto 1776, which was begun by Dr. Thomas, and has beencontinued and extended by S. F. Haven, Jun., M.
