Robert Biedron speaks to his supporters during the Biedron, member of the European parliament and an openly homosexual moderate left-wing presidential candidate started his campaign before the presidential elections in Poland. Although Poland is associated with traditionalism, he is gaining support among the young people with liberal and/or left-wing views in opposition to the right-wing conservatism of the current president. He is the first member of the Polish LGBT community with a chance to take such a high position in the country.
