1903 - ASSASSINATION OF KING ALEXANDER & QUEEN DRAGA (Masin) of SERBIA - A rare old photograph of Conspirators in the royal bedroom after the assassination. King Alexander (1876-1903) and Queen Draga of Serbia were assassinated during the night of June 10th/11th, 1903. The couple were found hidden in a secret cupboard behind a mirror in the Queens bedroom which allegedly led to a secret escape tunnel. Popular legend says they couldn't escape because the passage was blocked by the queens vast clothing collection. The couple were brutally shot and their bodies mutilated.
