Carbon-12, atomic structure

Carbon-12, atomic structure. The Bohr Model of Carbon(C) has a nucleus that contains 6 neutrons (Green) and 6 protons (orange). This nucleus is surrounded by two-electron shells named K-shell and L-shell. (X–ray notation) The Inner shell (K) contains two electrons, while the outermost shell (L) contains 4 electrons that also called valence electrons.
