Medical nanorobots. Computer artwork of a nanorobot that is designed to enter a human body and target individual cells. One of the aims of nanotechnology is to develop microscopically small probes that could be used to target cancer cells, or deliver specific treatments to certain types of cell. Here, the nanorobot has clamp with which it attaches itself to a cell. The syringe (blue) can then be used to inject drugs or genetic material.
