First Lieutenant Carlos Romero, disbursement officer with the 9th Financial Management Sustainment Unit, Special Troops Battalion, 1st Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade, reunites with his children, Adriel (center) and Thais Romero, and wife, Wendelyn Mendez-Maldonado, at Manhattan Regional Airport, Manhattan, Kansas, after returning from a nine-month deployment to Honduras on Sep. 28.
