Ty L. Powell, a Department of the Army civilian who serves as chief of command aviation, Army Aviation Center of Excellence, receives the Order of Saint Michael - Bronze Award from Maj. Gen. David J. Francis, USAACE commander, for his impact on Army aviation and helping to achieve strategic outreach goals for the Center, during a ceremony at USAACE headquarters May 31, 2022. In addition to his important role as an aviator at USAACE headquarters, he helps develop leaders by teaching aviation regulations to incoming brigade and battalion commanders.
