During Mr. Hodous absence, has had the work in charge andhis many friends have been glad to havehim with them again. On the second evening of the month,Mr. Hodous gave an earnest and help-ful address on missions and missionwork, with a report of some of the in-teresting and important features of themeetings of the American Board heldin Providence, October 3-6. Last Sunday. Mr. Fulton of the semi-nary preached a strong and inspiringsermon. The Endeavor meeting precedes thepreaching service each week; while thesociety is not large numerically, it holdsan important place in the work here.
