A large Indian rhinoceros horn cup, circa 1800 Large, one-piece carved cup, made from the horn of an impressive male rhinoceros. The multiply stepped foot finely carved with leaves and a bead-and-reel pattern. The base of the curved cup with gadrooned decoration, the flared rim embellished with palmettes in relief.
