A Swiss tradition, ringing large cow bells in unison. As the line of ringers walks in step each person strikes his her bell against his her thigh making a rhythmic clanging. This display took place at the 'desalpe', when the cows are brought down from their mountain pastures in autumn, at St Cergue in the Swiss Jura.
