1500 crocheted squares cover the lower parts of this Horse Chestnut tree in Bancroft Gardens. These have been made in South Africa by women of poor communities to help boost their income and give them new skills. Donations from this event will go the GAGA charity (Goodwill and growth for Africa UK).
