Brick tower at Cannon Street Station
Brick tower at Cannon Street Station with leaded roof and weather vane. The station is in the heart of London's financial district on the north bank of the River Thames. It was built for the South Eastern Railway in 1867 by Sir John Hawkshaw. The station was roofed without internal supports but only the brick towers and the immense brick walls remain.
