Russian Embassy, Andries Bickerweg. The Hague, The Netherlands. Sunday 12th June, 2022. Ukrainians refugees and supporters celebrated ‘Russia Day’ outside the Russian embassy in The Hague. A national holiday in the Russian Federation and celebrated annually on the 12 June. This day was officially known as the ‘Day of Adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Russian Federation’; and has the unofficial title of “Independence Day”. Today’s protesters mockingly referred to it as President Putin’s last birthday!
