Thomas Triniman, a British-American mechanic serving in Co. M, 16th Infantry, 1st Division during World War One. Born in Cornwall, England in 1888, he immigrated to the in 1909. Triniman was drafted in October 1917 and went to France on January 1, 1918, with his division. Standing at 5 feet 1 inch and weighing 138 pounds, he had red hair and brown eyes. Triniman served as a runner during combat. This photograph was taken in Leuterod, Germany on April 5, 1919, by Sgt. J. A. Marshall, , who was with Triniman during the war.
