100728-N-0000M-006 HELMAND PROVINCE, Afghanistan (July 28, 2010) Equipment Operator 3rd Class Christopher Herrick, a Seabee assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 removes a wing from the wreckage of a cargo plane that crash-landed. The Seabees removed the passengers from the plane and performed first aid until rescue personnel arrived. There were no injuries during the crash.
