Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III meets with Turkish Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar during defense ministerial meetings at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, March 16, 2022. Austin is in Brussels to participate in meetings with allies discussing deterrence capabilities on NATO’s eastern flank.
