Sugar cane being burnt then harvested in Nakorn Ratchasima province, Thailand. After harvesting it will be transported to a factory where it will be converted into ethanol for use as biofuel. Thailand is very progressive in respect of alternative fuels for transport and also uses butane gas for many of its large truck fleets. February 2011
