The prelude to the third act announces that weare again brought to the contemplation of solemnthings, of sorrow and gloom. The music opens THEME OF DESOLATION. The Music with a new theme, the Theme of Desolation, de-picting the woe that has come upon the GrailKnights, through the unwillingness of their chiefsto perform his duty.
