Prehistoric crocodilian. Artwork of Pakasuchus leaping in the air to catch a dragonfly. Pakasuchus was a prehistoric reptile that lived during the Early Cretaceous (105 million years ago). Pakasuchus differed from other crocodilians (prehistoric crocodile-like reptiles) by having a mammal-like body and skull. Its short, broad skull closely resembled that of a modern cat and it had a dog like nose and long legs.
